Abstract
Noise emitted from shooting ranges consists of impulsive events, irregular and with sound levels differing considerably from momentary background noise, which differetiates them from industrial or environmental noise. For this guideline the A-weighted sound pressure level is measured. Rating is based upon the rating computed from single shot levels taking into account corrections for impulsiveness and times of rest. The quality of the rating level is given by the upper limit of the confidence range.
