Abstract
This guideline provides in addition to DIN 4109 and DIN 4109 supplement 1 guidance for the design, construction and required sound insulation of windows and facade elements. This guideline is a tool for the esimation of required sound insulation index of windows in consideration of the given outdoor noise situation. This guideline deals in addition with rules for assembling of windows and auxiliary equipment. This concerns for example roller blinds and ventilation equipment elements.
