Abstract
The purpose of this part of IEC 60118 is to define a test method which enables the characterisation of hearing aids using a speech-like signal.
The described method provides conformity when measuring the performance of hearing aids using a speech-like signal. It defines a speech-like test signal, a set of standard audiograms and specifies the measurement setup and analysis methods. The method provides coupler gain and Estimated Insertion Gain for hearing aids.
