Abstract
This guideline shall enable the machine manufacturer to select from the multitude of existing basic acoustical measurement methods the most suitable one for his specific machine and it's respective mounting conditions for the determination and declaration of the noise emission.
The guideline could also serve for assistance in the preparation of safety standards (or noise test codes) to establish the most suitable acoustical measurement method for the respective type of machinery.
